RIBBLEHEAD VIADUCT - 28th October 1997 A surreal class 60 heads the Kirkby Thore - Sudforth Lane gypsum empties over Batty Moss at twilight.Unfortunately the sun never sets directly behind the viaduct not even at the Summer Solstice, the Inca philosophy did not apply to the builders of the Midland Railway! |
