66177 at Blea Moor Tunnel south
BLEA MOOR TUNNEL SOUTH - 20th June 2002
66177 heads south with mgr loads in "canopy" wagons or "topskips" as they were known in Toton Yard (particularly by North Yard Chargeman "Don" - yes, mate, it's me, "that" Kevin!). There was a total of seven shafts dug, three of which were retained for ventilation. The spoil heaps can be clearly seen.
